Launched last Thursday, the National Selection, Academic, and Career Guidance Test (TENASOSP) concluded this Friday, June 15, across the entire country. In North Kivu Province, a total of 106,905 candidates took the test, including 54,063 girls and 52,342 boys. Ms. Prisca Luanda Kamala, the provincial governor’s representative, stated that the test consisted of a series of questions designed to assess students’ skills in several subjects, including mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, history, and geography. She added that, based on the results obtained, the 8th-grade students participating in the exam will be able to choose their academic and career paths. Despite the security situation in this part of the country, the director of the North Kivu 1 educational province, Luc Gbaweza Kabango, assured that the exams proceeded normally without major incidents, even at the cross-border center. However, he noted that three testing centers in the Rutshuru 2 sub-division were relocated to the Kirumba sub-division in North Kivu 2 for security reasons. Cheta Birhashwirwa Riziki
