On Monday, June 2, 2025, Aimé Fundi, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Tanganyika Province, oversaw the make-up exams for the 2024–2025 State Examination. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the official guidelines governing the administration of these exams. Taking the opportunity, he called on school officials to maintain an atmosphere of discipline and calm throughout the exams to ensure optimal testing conditions for all candidates. The event took place at the Lubuye Technical and Vocational Institute (ITPL) in the city of Kalemie, the provincial capital, which hosted a total of 10,862 candidates—including 4,824 girls—registered and distributed across 25 exam centers for this 59th edition of the State Exam. Several dignitaries attended the opening ceremony of the exams, including the provincial Minister of Infrastructure, who represented his colleague from the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship, currently on a mission in Tanganyika 2/Kabalo. Also present were the mayor of Kalemie, four national supervisors, and members of the Provincial Committee for National Education and New Citizenship. It is important to note that the future graduates of Tanganyika 1, armed with calm and confidence, are embarking on their educational journey. The authorities, aware of what is at stake, are ensuring that the essay exam takes place under the best possible conditions. Richard Dumby
