Wivine Mude Nkoko officially takes charge of the Lukunga educational province

For the first time in its history, the Lukunga Educational Province will be led by a woman. Ms. Wivine Mude Nkoko officially took the reins on Wednesday, November 13. The 60-year-old, appointed by the Minister of State, Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, succeeds Jean-Pierre Yoy Bokete in this position. In her remarks during the handover ceremony, the new head of this educational jurisdiction called on her staff to unite in order to hold high the banner of this Proved. “The administration is the same throughout the national territory. We will move forward in collaboration, in accordance with official instructions (…) We must stand together to serve the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is for our children, the future of tomorrow,” she declared. Wivine Nkoko, a woman with a distinguished career in education The current PROVED of Lukunga has been in the education sector for over 35 years now. First, from 1985 to 1994, she was a teacher at the Kimvuka Institute in Mbanza-Ngungu, in the province of Kongo Central, before serving as academic dean at the Manzonzi Institute from 1994 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2007, Ms. W. Nkoko worked as deputy PROVED in Songololo. In Matadi, she served as deputy PROVED from 2007 to 2015. Additionally, from 2015 to 2022, the new head of the Lukunga educational province served as Provincial Director in Tshikapa, in Kasaï. Long before her appointment in Kinshasa, from 2022 to October 2024, she served as Provincial Director of Maï ndombe 2, in Bolobo. Ouriel Mangitukwa
